Cautions for Care Beds

Operating the hand controlled remote

The hand controlled remote on the Miolet ForU and Ultilet are designed to work with a light press. If the edge of the button is pressed too hard with your nails, the button may get stuck. Pressing another part of the same button will solve the problem. Please be careful.

Managing Power Outages

(1) What to do when the back is lifted and there is a power outage.

How to release the back lift on each model during power outages

(2) Using the backup batteries during a power outage(Sept 20, 2011)

By inserting a squared shaped 9V battery, the legs or the back can be lowered one time during blackouts on the 1+1 Motor Type beds.
Please be aware that the batteries have use by dates. If the battery remains inserted long past the use by date, there is a risk that the battery acid leaks and the battery ruptures. This will result in the battery being unusable when it is most needed. It is best to exchange the batteries with new ones when it passes the use by date, even if the batteries have not been used. For details, see the battery manufacturer’s website
