The Japanese Society of Pressure Ulcers defines positioning as utilizing cushions and other devices to position the body of a physically challenged person to safely accomplish tasks that need to be completed. Positioning Bed incorporates the High Back Support Function and Fitting Function at the knees to alleviate shear pressure when lifting the back and provide relaxing comfort. This new medical bed improves posture and improves providing the user with treatment.

Separating the high back (head to middle back) and low back gives the user the ability to adjust the angle of each section with a motor.

There are Three Settings to Control the Bend of the High Back Support
If the user’s knees are not properly positioned over the bending portion of the bed, the user’s body will slide towards the foot of the bed when lifting their back. Without having to customize the bed parts, the P300Series has two bending settings to adjust for the length of the user’s thighs, which prevents shifting and losing posture.

Expected Results of Using the Positioning Bed
The angle of the neck can be adjusted when the Back is lifted and reducing abdominal pressure helps with swallowing. This helps with dysphagia rehabilitation and reduces the risk of aspiration.

Improving posture by spreading the diaphragm and reducing back and abdominal pressure helps with respiration.
Controlling the angle of the high back support provided to the bending section of the vertebrate in users with kyphosis helps improve their positioning when the back is lifted.
This alleviates shear force when lifting the back and provides comfort to those who have a reduced range of motion in their hips, have trouble lifting their backs, or are pregnant and cannot place pressure on their abdomen.
Compared to conventional back lifting mechanisms, the High Back Support Function reduces pressure and force on the body.
This also helps with positioning for bedsore treatments.

Retractable Center Rail Holder
Not only at center of head and foot side, but also on their right and left side, a total of 6 lock pedals are installed.
Regardless of the location of bed, this easy-lock system will allow staff members to ease their burden.
The 12.5cm diameter, large casters are durable and roll well.
The control switch can be connected on either side of the bed and can even be connected to both sides simultaneously.
* Comes standard with one control switch.
Back bottom can be lowered manually in emergency.
Turn the key on the lock button on the control switch to prevent controlling the bed.
Attach the angle meter to the bottom area and confirm the angle as the user is lifting their back.
Attach a urine bag to the hook. The hook can be attached to the side rail or the side rail holder.
An optional battery unit is available to power the bed during a power outage or for locations with no electricity.
* The battery must be charged.
